Front Fender Removal
How long does it take to get one of the front fenders off? Are the bolds inside of the door difficult to take off and put back on?
Interesting how the removal schematic isn't in the Helms manual.
Wanting to get to this point:
Are there any problems with realignment putting the fender back on?

aligning would be the hardest part of removing the fender but as long as you like the fender get bent or something it should be easy. you just need a 10mm socket extension and ratchet, 10mm wrench (a ratcheting one would make it easier) and you might need to move the front fender liner out a bit to get to the front two mounting points. Make sure you watch the door as you take off the fender because one of the mounting tabs stick out and could scratch your car if you're not careful.
If i remember correctly there are 6 bolts in the engine bay, 3 on the bottom, 2 behind the headlights and 2 in the door area.

That photo is rather interesting. I imagine that if my eight year old windshield washer fluid container should crack because of old age and temperature cycling, it is an extremely simple job to remove an entire front fender and replace the container. Sure hope I never have to find out.
