Default Front end alignment

Just put 2 new S02's in the front.
They were computer balanced & everything seems fine.
The dealer told me I might need a front end alignment.
Is this true?
What do you guys think?

thks...

Use your own judgement on this. I think the dealer is just trying to extract more money out of you. Examine your old tires if you still can. How did they wear? Evenly and symmetrically? If so, leave it alone. If not, then get the alignment but keep in mind that today, to do a proper alignment, you must get a 4 wheel alignment as each end of the car is referenced to the other end. You have to do them all to have it done right.
It's might be far more important to re-check the balance after about 500 miles. Your alignment doesn't go off just because you put new tires on unless the dealer jack hammerd your rims back on and beat your suspension with a ballpeen hammer.

Did not examine the old tires.

Purchased the car used with 13k miles.
Now have 20K
Have had no front end issues or problems.
Car handles great!

imo, as long as you are checking alignment on the fronts- might as well do all 4.

also depends on whether you track the car and how hard you drive it. the harder you are on the car the more often you out to consider getting it checked out.

all of our cars can benefit from a more aggressive alignment (over stock), imo... but it is an opinion!
