I try to maintain 35lbs all around. This is not because I have any special knowledge that would actually verify that the extra 3 pounds are a true benefit.
I've noted pressure fluctuations almost every time I check pressure so in my simple mind and reasoning, I'd rather run a little extra pressure than chance running what could be extremly low.
This should also help a little with mileage and hopefully with tire wear.
Tire wear could also be exactly opposite with the the extra air causing un-even wear. I won't know trhe answer until I have a few more K on the odometer.

I thought I'd better add that I live in Florida where temps seldom reach the freezing point. For anyone living in the northern climes, I'd suggest that you do not exceed the factory recs. in winter.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

It's really too bad that Cali guys don't make it out to Wake the Dragon in April (the S2k meet in North Carolina Rt 129 in Deal's Gap).

Maybe you'd get hooked on superchargers.....

Since you've driven Ferrari's in the meantime, I promise that 100 extra hp in an S2k wouldn't unsettle you (if you were driving). Being a passenger is a different story.

I think the last passenger almost wet himself. I was showing a co-worker the new Ipod integration and he put on his seatbelt. So I was like... okay, you asked for it!

It was amusing to watch. He drives an Accord....

i'd love to drive the dragon. one day maybe.

im not scared of the 100 hp, but rather not being able to redline a couple without breaking serious laws. the ferrari power was so much that you're already going to jail when you hit 2nd.

happy new year

Happy New Year!

I found through auto-Xing and track test days with a pyrometer that I get even heat wear at 32psi up front and 29psi in the rear. I'm running pole position S03s allthe way around. 225 up front and 255 in the rear. Sounds like low pressure, I know but I get great traction at that psi.

Bump.

Check your tire pressure.

And, check your oil AP1 owners!

Good advice.

We did a survey at work and found that most spare tires were in the range of 15-20 psi, some near zero! A minispare should be at 60 psi.
