Then you have to ask yourself, if you want to lend your car to the show. They will also want to let people in it and possibly drive it. There are no free lunches. If you take a free SC, you will end up paying for it in someway.

hey lanbrown..thanks for your opinion. You cant bust my balls though! I am not worried if some1 wants to sit in my car. I wont be lending my car to them for the show. I am not going to be showing with or under Vortech. I can get into the show as a featured vehicle once my car is nice enough. I wont have to let anyone drive it!!!

 

All I am saying is that once(if) they give you that SC, you now OWE them.

 

Firstly, let me say that I hope you do get a free supercharger. I certainly wouldn't turn one down.

But there seems to be an underlying current here of jealousy and doubt. The fact is, we only have Ro_Ja Boys statement that his boss believes he can get a $5K SC for nix and his understandable desire to believe it. Weirder things have happened. Unfortunately not to me.

On the other hand we have many time wearied people here who have been around the traps and know that if a deal sounds too good to be true, then it probably is. Added to this the amount of time some of us have lusted over a an SC and I think a few of us would like to see it all fall down.

But until an indefinite period of time passes we effectively have two simultaneous probability waveforms (any heard of Schrodinger's Cat). Until some salient point is passed it makes no sense to give Ro-Ja Boy a hard time and tell him it's a falsehood or suggest he will have to play the skin flute in return.

Ro_Ja Boy - I hope you do get your SC for free. I hope there are no strings attached. I also hope that should this offer turn out to be a miscommunication spawn of enthusiasm you won't be too disappointed.
