Before I bought, and for the first week of having my car cover, I did find it somewhat tedious to get out and put it on after parking. In short order, though, I kind of figured out the most efficient way to put it on and now it's second nature. I now put the cover on every time I park unless I'll be leaving again in less time than it takes for the car to cool down.

I can see the benefit to covering just the top, but when for less money you can buy a reasonable quality full car cover, I couldn't justify it myself. It's also nice to have the additional 'security' of having the entire car protected from the elements and stupid people.

Try This

Roadster Solutions

For Honda S2k

I bought their softtop cover for the car, and I love it. I like the padded sides which help prevent any dings from inconsiderate drivers parked too close.

How does a cover protect the car from stupid people?

Plenty of fabric/color options here.......

Covercraft rocks.

I've seen this in action (9KTACH) and the fitment is pretty good. It hooks aroung the door handles and the wipers if I remember.

If you haven't noticed, our paint tends to scratch even if someone just brushes up against the car. Maybe I only notice because I have a black car. Additionally, it never hurts to have an extra layer of protection for door dings.

Common sense man. I'm not saying it's a fix-all, but no doubt it helps.
