G50 3.2L 1989 Carrera

I only correct you because my early 89 was one of the last quintessential early era Porsches to roll off the line. The 89s that came after - the 964s - were good but not as good

Right, I did not look carefully. The lack of silly movable tail should have told me. I’m fantasizing about a 964 right now so that is likely how my mind went there.

You have the very last G-body, nice!

New toy!

S2000s are amazing. I realize they are getting older and there is always something needed. So, I need something reliable as a backup car.

I am loving the 719 Cayman T. It is pretty close to perfect for what I am looking for. Of course, the engine lacks high rpm drama.

I jumped into the low miles 2004 to park it in storage. I was half expecting that the S2000s will all be up for sale soon. However, I was very pleasantly surprised that I am still loving the S2000 driving experience!

Thank you, it is much appreciated. Doing all the plumbing for the fuel system on it now, very excited for the finished product when we are all done with it.

Please let me know if you ever strip the interior on the 06, I would love to get a set of those blue 06 seats for my Grand Prix White.

Thanks @teckert !

Long story short, I wanted a “reference” car and that led me down the CR rabbit hole. I figured the CR is the pinnacle of the factory iterations so it would be the best reference car.

I missed out on the black one on BaT back in December. But I wasn’t that keen on it as I wanted to keep them all blue.

I also was trying to staying away from BaT. For a day or two, I didn’t look at BaT. In a moment of weakness, I saw this CR. I thought there’s no way I would win it but still gave it a shot. As luck would have it, I won the auction. Many might park them, my plan is to pick it up in Vegas, drive to AZ to hang out with a friend, then drive back to WA!
