A recap of the current S2000s,
2004 low miles reference car - pretty much all “restored” to factory condition now. Besides wheels that have some light curb rash that I am undecided on whether I want to refinish them. Temporary running a set of Enkei wheels. Alarm system removed by the best local shop with everything carefully repaired/restored. New steering wheel (my attempt at cleaning shiny steering wheel failed). New clutch and eliminated clutch delay valve. New transmission (long story shared previously). Pretty much perfect now. I will detail interior and exterior when I get the chance.

The other 2004 (I will name them eventually) is at @Ptuning getting awesome work done. Will share more details when it’s done. @tom@ptuning has been amazing to work with as I wanted all kinds of not very common things done. While I know it will be top quality work, I will likely blow it up at some point due to me getting lost in chasing power.

The 2006 that lost the engine is running great with the new Honda shortblock. The detailing appointment is later this week (finding a quality shop to detail the underside is not easy). In case you don’t know, dry ice cleaning doesn’t work for a clean car that got sprayed with oil.
After that, baseline dyno time. Then the built InlinePro 2.5L will go in. Lots of mods planned for this one. Basically, this will be my vision of a “CR”.

The 2008 CR will stay completely stock. My plan is to enjoy driving it when I can. Maintain and restore to as perfect a condition as possible. This way, I can always do back-to-back drives to see if the built ones are “better” for what I am looking for.

Other cars? Always something pretty cool. The 718 Cayman T is the latest new car addition and it’s a really great car. I would have a really tough time deciding whether I enjoy the S2000 or 718 Cayman T more! I am happy to share other updates as they happen.

And I thought I liked the 2004 you sent me! Congrats on the CR, my dream S2k. The best color for it too. I am definitely bias on blue cars being the best though (Hence why I painted one of my S13's still night blue pearl from a Honda) .
Curious what else is getting done to the 2006 if you are calling that one a Radi-CAL (pun intended) build.

The 2006 engine damage was due to selling dealership negligence as there’s no other logical explanation of how an oil filter comes loose besides incorrect installation. Lost all oil pressure. I should be disassembling the damaged shortblock in the coming weeks to see what’s salvageable.
Lots of mods planned for the 2006 and I will share as they happen.
