I like that the numbers are low. I actually wish it would go to zero.

I hardly ever see s2000s. maybe b/c it's winter, but i drive about 2 hours a day and see one only about once every 2 weeks.

I believe Honda's intentional plans for the production of the S2000 was for something like only 2 or 3 years so considering that we're a pretty lucky group its still made.

Isn't the rumour being 2007 is the last model year and that's it until 2025?

Honda only brings out special S models every 25 years...so I predict the new model will be 2025.

Our car doesn't have an automatic option. We also don't fit people with 42" waists. There goes 75% of the American car market.

it's nothing i wouldn't expect. out of the millions of people, i'd say 1 in 10 are sports car enthusiest. so it's something tht's expected IMO. just the same way why the accord or camry outsell the s2000.

if everyone didn't care about spaciouse room, and whether they needed to fit 2 cars seats in the back or buying groceries, or even if they could only carry one passenger and get at best 22 mpg, i'd believe that the s2000 would dominate in it's game!!

but again, as stated in the article cars such as 350z's, similarly to our s2000's, are low volume cars.

oh and to add... atleast our sales weren't as bad as the last year productions of the toyota mr2-spyder and celica. if i can remember, there were only about 400 spyders sold and alittle over 700 celicas!!

i wonder if they plan on producing another car that'll have the same appeal as those two??

I hear that!
It's amazing to me how 85% of all the car companies top selling cars listed were on the down %. I guess car sales last year were hurting.

The S2000's Demographic is smaller as well.

It's for someone who wants a real car. (Very small demographic)

Most honda's are great though. and look at the accord and fit. they offer "MORE."

The S2000 ONLY offers great looks, convertable top, great engine, amazing handling, reliability; What's the S2000's problem!
