Just use the Hexomats. The mats are cut out to the dimension of the footwell and extend beyond the hump on the driver side

Expensive? Yes. Worth every penny? Yes.
Worth is always subjective (just look at this thread). Doesn't matter what you're talking about. Personally. Rick's and Muz are right at the limit of what I would spend. Of course, YMMV.

It would really be beneficial for people to post why they consider their mats to be worth it so others can see if those reasons are in line with their own needs/wants/budget.

Does weathertech make a mat for the s2000?
It's very quick and easy to answer if you hit their site.

Didn't know you could get 2000 mats to cover that carpeted cross brace in front of the seats... might have to look into that.
Several options mentioned in this thread cover the crossmember.

$60-80 bucks for a new set of mats.

http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/auto/j...cgry5=FLOOR+MAT

$70 from Majestic (part26).

I really can't see spending $350 for floor mats - its a piece of carpet designed to get dirty and worn out. My OEM driver's side lasted 5 years before wearing to the rubber, and the passenger side still looks brand new, so for me, its $70 for a new driver's mat that will last me another 5 years at least.

I'd have to wear through 5 sets of OEM mats to hit $350 in mat replacement costs - I'm currently on track to do that in 25 years.

I bought a set, but haven't put them in the car yet. They're airing out in the "tire room" so they don't smell as much when I put them in.

I only looked briefly, but I think you need to cut the anchor holes in yourself.

Okay, so all this floor mat talk inspired me to test fit my Hexomats.

I also have MUZ mats.

I'll say that I like the MUZ passenger mat much better than the Hexomat.

The way the Hexomat is cut, it doesn't include the transmission tunnel.

I cut anchor hook holes in the driver's Hexomat and it fits pretty well.

The thing I don't like about my particular MUZ driver's mat is the plastic "heel plate" that get slippery when dirty. You can order mats without that plate.

I think the driver's side Hexomat will be fine, but I'm keeping my passenger MUZ mat.

Click on my link, CKit. I fitted Momo heel plates to my Muz mats. It can be slippery if your shoes are wet, but it definitely protects the mats with style.
