Does weathertech make a mat for the s2000? If you want protection over appearance you can't beat them (they are pretty "industrial" in appearance). I've had the same set in three different cars for over eight years and they work as advertised... or, you could call Toyota or Lexus... they may have some deals on floor mats.

Didn't know you could get 2000 mats to cover that carpeted cross brace in front of the seats... might have to look into that.

those premium mats sure do look nice, and made by Honda too. 300+ shipping is expensive though! I can get a new regular set for 75+ shipping, although without the cross brace cover.

I appreciate everyone's input. Now I have some decisions to make.

Pep Boys has WeatherTech knock offs for around $20...can't remember the brand, but check the store...They are way oversized for the S but easy to trim down to fit.

I bought a set for my S and a set for my Z because winter snow, salt, road grime destroys carpets...these hose off and wipe down easily.

If you go this route, wash them well with soap and water before putting in your car to eliminate that 'rubber factory' smell.

as of right now Weathertech does not make anything for the S2000 when I checked into it recently.

I really need some mats for my car as the OEMs have a hole in them. Even the stock factory mats are way overpriced, and they are too short IMO. Does anyone consider the fact that we only have 2 mats in the car and they cost 8 times as much as any other car!.

I think the most reasaonably priced set is from Rick's, their nylon series, they are longer and cover the brace and look like decent quality. I'll be going with Rick's mats myself. I know the Muz and Honda upgrade mats are really nice, but I just can't fathom spending the kind of dough on two mats.

yup, here you go. They have the fancy wool mats, or the nylons. I'm likely going to get they nylons for under $180 they are the most affordable ones I can find that are full size and fit over the brace. Still too much money IMO for 2 mats but the best price I can find for decent qualtiy.

I had the Rick's nylon mats in my MY05...they were awesome. Wish I'd known then that I would eventually get another S...

the full size mat prices for this car are ridiculous. plus, having a red interior also means that i cannot take advantage of the cheaper full size mats since they seem to all be in black.
