I just picked up my S yesterday (and I'm way STOKED!!!)
When I was going through the manual, one paragraph read something like "... the floormats that came with..." but mine didn't have any! Was I supposed to get a set with the car or not?

Not that it's any big deal, BUT since I'm paying for them...

yea, the car comes with floormats, maybe you should go back to the dealer and ask your salesman...

 

Thxs; I'll ask them about it tomorrow. Darn. I chose a dealer over 60 miles from my house (getting the car at sticker will do that!) so I hope I don't have to drive up and back for them.

 

You check your trunk? Mine was in the trunk.

 

Yeah I did... the boot was back there, but thatz it.
I'm hoping the dealer will UPS them down to me...

Do you have anchor posts just in front of the crossbrace on the driver's side?

 

What "secret" compartment are we talking about here??? The only one I'm aware of definately wouldn't hide a pair of floor mats.

Yes, the anchor hook for the drivers side mat is there. I bought some black universal mats and they fit almost perfect. I spoke with my sales guy and he affirmed that I am supposed to get mats, so he's going to find out where the dealership has them.

 

Yes! You should definitely check in your secret compartment.

 

I looked in the secret compartment and THERE they were... a little smaller than I expected, but at least they were there! I think they'll protect where one shoe touches the carpet... sure.
