Im deciding on either the oem ap1 front lip or the seibon oem carbon fiber front lip. Anyone have any issues with fitment on the seibon? What do you guys think? Seibon or OEM AP1? Any information will be great.

 

I've got the Seibon....fittment is great but it does not have the gasket that comes with the OEM one....not bad...it will occasionally scratch the bumper underneath, but nothing noticeable...the weave is great and it will cost you less than OEM...in addition to this, I can testify that the lip will hold up rather well...have parked and accidentaly hit the curb in front...the clear coat will crack but the lip is well build and reinforced...it takes a lot to crack the fibergalss underlay.....defientely a better look than the OEM imo.....it really gives it a racey look instead of just a plane jane stock look...and it looks great on bright and ligth colors...will look amazing on your white S2K....get it!!!!!.....the cheapest place i found was:

actually mine is an AP2 so you're lip would be different, but that was my experience with Seibon....very positive...from my knowledge the AP1 lip is thinner but same principle....carbon fiber overlay and fiberglass underlay...looks great

 

I've got the AP1 version. Fitment is great. Good stuff.

In my opinion, a carbon fiber front lip looks tacky sitting atop a painted bumper.
