Default First time ever stuck in the snow....

So I'm not blaming it on the car, nor myself just an unfortunate circumstance. The storm here in the north east laid down some serious, very serious ice on the road ways. It took me 1.5 hours to get from Wayne NJ to West Milford Nj which is normally a 20 minute drive. Then my neighborhood was in such bad shape, completely untouched by plows/salters that after numerous attempts of making my way around to my house I had to park on route 23 and walk 3 miles to my house in the freezing rain. I just got home now and needed to vent. Thanks for reading my rant. I was planning on putting snow tires on next week already, and that has been confirmed now lol.

Dang, I just could not stand the thought of leaving my car on the road. Do you have winter tires?

Buying them after you need them is the best way

The snowblower theory also says, if you don't have snow tires, you will get plenty of snow that year. If you buy a snowblower you never seem to see more than an inch of snow in the driveway

I've had both M3 & LM-25 for my 03 S2000 before.
LM-25 has better bite to both ice and snow than the M3.
It is softer than summer compound but not too soft when the snow season is gone.
i was being super lazy and kept driving on LM-25 until late summer when it was too hot for the winter tire
