Default First full tank of gas used up on my '04 AP2 .......

..... and got a pleasing 24.1 mpg with it! Driven almost exclusively top down with a mix of city and highway for my daily commute.

Coming from an E46 M3 where I was getting around 17-18 mpg for the same commute, I'll take it. I'm very pleased!

That is all.

Part of the reason I sold my last car before the S2000 (1995 Pontiac Firehawk w/the LT1) was the poor fuel economy. For what the S2000 is, the gas mileage isn't bad at all. I've gotten 30 mpg out of more than one tank, and never gotten lower than 20 mpg on a tank I actually let get near empty. Overall, my guess is it has averaged around 25 mpg, mixed city/highway.

on my AP1 I usually got about 20 in the city and anywhere from 25-28 highway. My personal best during a s2k roadtrip was 33mpg (drafting the car in front maybe?)

On the new AP2 I get about the exact same averages while S/C - 20 city (maybe a bit less) and about 25 Hwy.

I get around 17-21 mpg's. Due to the fact that I drive my car maybe 3 times a month, so for those few times it is driven I make sure to be in vtec.

When I bought my Type R back in '98 (sold it in '00) it was my first taste of a VTEC engine. Yeah ..... got a whopping 16 mpg on that first tank! But after calming down, adding mods and tuning, I was getting in the low 30's a lot of the time (except when I took it to the strip and raced it).
