Finish on factory rims
How is the factory finish on your rims?
I have noticed the the finish on 2 of my rims is p#$s poor at only 330 miles. One rear has a finish flaw that you can see, but can not feel it. One front has flaws/scrapes that I can feel that I could probably sand and polish out. Both of these flaws are around the outer lip. The dealer will take a look at them this weekend to possibly order a couple new ones. If they get replaced, how do you do the swap without damaging the new ones since these are reverse mount rims. If you have to mount the tire with the face down, I would think the tire machine would trash the finish since the face would be against the machines base.
