Finally,last question about exhaust...
This is probably the last information i'll have before to order.
I've heard a lot of interesting things and made a lot of search
about exhaust and headers but i can't decide what to do:
1)What i've heard about headers and exhaust:
-best exhaust if you want more power with a good sound are
probably Spoon and J's racing.
-best headers are Spoon and Mugen.
one for peak power and little torque gain, second for better torque and mid-range power.
2)What i want for my "s":
-i want a good sound(i have the hks exh.for the moment).
-i want more torque and more power.
3)What i think:
-if Mugen header give more torque than Spoon and if Spoon
N1 exhaust give a really good power increase compared to Mugen one than i think the best combo is probably MUGEN header+SPOON exhaust.(I'm afraid of SPOON-SPOON combo)
This way i can expect a really good result..
HAVE SOMEONE THIS COMBO ?
PLEASE TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT THIS THEORY.
Thank you all.
Michael.

I have that combination and feel my S2000 is not slower as a result. Roll on comparison to a stock S2000 had mine ahead until we shut down for a turn mid 3rd gear or so. Weight savings may have something to do with this as well.
Sideways following me on the track felt I had more torque; I had a passenger, I think Sideways did not.
Sound is nice.
I am happy with the combination and of all the exhausts I have had (stock, HKS, Mugen, and now the Spoon) I like this one the best. It is personal preference, not necessarily 'the best', imo. What is best depends on the individual, of course.
If the parameters you stated about power and such for the different components are true, your theory makes sense to me.

Thank you Prolene for your answer.
I think you have a big experience with s2000 exhaust.
I probably 'll buy the Mugen header but for this price i want to be
sure of the result.
Can someone with Spoon-Spoon give me his impressions?
See you.
Michael.
