Finally I'm a S2000 owner!
Picked up Michael A's 2000 Silverstone S2000 on Tuesday night in Long Island, drove it home (Baltimore) yesterday. Michael took great care of the car and it drives and feels like new. Thanks Michael! It was a pleasure dealing with you.
Wow, this car is amazing. I really love driving it. After 5 hours in the car yesterday I was ready for more. Added bonus: my wife is completely thrilled with the car - she can't get enough of it! Looks like we'll be flipping a coin every morning to see who gets it that day!
Michael has a gallery but I couldn't help but take some of my own shots. Here's one after I finally eased it into my driveway:
The only changes I think I'll be doing are something to the seats to give me a little more headroom, and I've got to get rid of that awful stereo and put in something half-decent.
First things first though, I need a car cover STAT! It's supposed to rain tomorrow!
Anyway I look forward to participating in the community here, and hitting meets in the mid-atlantic area. I'll also be AutoXing the car with the Washington DC Region SCCA at Fedex field, roughly one Sunday a month.
See you out there!

Thanks everyone! I forgot to mention that I'm a member of the big-guy-in-a-little-car club, at 6'5" and 220 lbs, I somehow have a perfect fit in my S2K. One more incentive for me to hit the gym - I gain 5 pounds and I'm not driving her!
Hockey - have you been happy with your weathershield cover - do you actually use it, does it do a good job, and is it easy to use? I'm also stuck with no garage!
Hyperdimensions, this is kinda off-topic, but I've used Zaino in the past and somehow was never quite satisfied - it seemed like a pain in the butt to apply. It's probably due to my own inexperience and general lack of detailing skill - I've owned a ton of sweet cars, but somehow never feel like I know what I'm doing with the paint. And that's after reading dozens of how-tos and articles, etc. When I get out there it just doesn't ever click. Sometimes things just don't, you know what I mean? It's like me and hats - I just can't wear them. My head's the wrong shape. Put a hat on my head and you can crack up for 30 minutes. Whoah, now I'm really rambling!
