Took delivery 12/00. Now that it's getting hot I get a lot of film on inside of w/s and rear window (yuck!) when car is parked in sun with top up, even for just a few hours. I'm certainly familiar with this problem with other cars (fumes from dash/seats) but this seems particularly bad. Does the problem diminish with time? What is other owners experience?

I imagine you can also accelerate the process by running the heater for some extended time on high heat. Some of the plasticizers mentioned are inside the ducting system.
Just think of the film as "visible new car smell."
