Firstly, my apologies for bringing this thread back from the dead. I purchased an 05 S2k and am picking it up from the States in a week. I know that my S2k doesn't have an owners manual and from what I've read, the gas door release is somewhat hidden. Can someone tell me where the release button is just so I can be prepared for my first fill up with it?

hmm... i dunno i found it quite funny reading your posts : ) i guess i'm just an observant person. when i first test drove the S, i found everything that you owners can't find IE the "SECRET" compartment, the gas door release, and for some of you the trunk release.

It's very hard to see if you're sitting in the car with the door closed. It's still pretty hard to see if you're sitting in the car with the door open....

I was reading the OP's post, thinking, "Damn! This guy has been a member for 8 years and he is just finding out about this.."

Shows that you should read things thorougly before making assumptions.
