Fifth Gear seems to be hating on the S

I'm a little hurt that they think the styling of the 350z is better than the S. Looks like a slightly larger MX-5? Ouch. I can understand some people mistaking it for that, but if you really look at it, you can tell it's not.

yeah the review doesnt sound like their giving the S any chances, it truly is a great car but they try find the minor downfalls and turn it into a total dissapoitment. the review was basis and wasnt that informative

It's like they wrote the review without first driving the car, and second they are comparing things that we don't necessarily care about.
It is race inspired and as such does not require all the nice features of the BMW series. I was torn between a Z3/z4 or the S and I drove all three and still chose the S. It was more about what I wanted and not about showing others what I have.

Well, if you ask me, it does look like a Miata -- a lot. It also looks a bit like the Z4. IMO, the exterior looks better than both. You guys also need to remember that that the S2K is way expensive in Brittain. They expect more for the money.
As far as room in the boot goes, I'd say it is far larger than it appears. My wife and I have travelled for 10 days straight in it. Tight? Yes, but sufficient especially if you pull tool holder, wrap the tools, and put them in the spare.
