you do know that front window defrost w/ the A/C on can be turned to warm or even hot right? it will still clear the windshield no matter what temp you have it set to. so being "cold" is no excuse to complain... turn up the temp!!

Aaah sympathy from a fellow Canuck. You're right we're not as cold here in the winter, but when I'm up at school the chill factor is almost twice that of sea level. You definitely wouldn't want cold feet while driving down the mountain full of snow

I'm not sure how the Aussie S2k's are wired (door lock-wise). Possibly Muz or another Aussie forum member has a shop manual with a diagram.
Does seem strange though. I still don't see any benefit (safety or otherwise) of not being able to unlock the passenger door from the drivers side door. Or use the keyfob buttons to lock/unlock the doors or open the boot if the key is in the ignition. We can do that aswell with the Aussie S2k's.
You guys have some strange feature's over there on the other side of the world .

honda seriously f'd up the passenger door lock setup. if my 94 accord has access to unlock the passenger from the driver side, then a brand new s2k should to. "weight saving" shouldn't even be an excuse.
