I had Fiamms (on my Alfa a& Maserati) and they can be slow to honk in the winter. Griots Garage sells an all in one trumpt with built in compressor. Has the same sound but is much smaller and easier to install.

I would take a look at this one before settling on Fiamms. Remember that 02's and on have two horns to remove...

I feel it is critical to have a super loud horn in a small car as many people don't see you and I seldom use the horn, but when I do, "get the f out of the way".

I've got the Fiamm ones from Pepboys. The two red ones, paid like $25. Much better than stock. But does leave you with wanting a bit more OOMPH, not that these are quiet by any means. I'm thinking of going to the three horn version.

They sound great though.

I see a set of upgraded horns in my future. Today I was driving along and a guy next to me in a pickup started coming into my lane because he couldn't see me. It didn't help that he was blasting rap music and talking on his phone. He finally did hear my stock horns and moved back into his lane. Fortunately, there was a pretty good shoulder I could drive onto and avoid the collision.

[QUOTE=LagunaS2K,Sep 20 2006, 08:24 PM] Hella and Fiam air horns sound identical to the italian exotics.
