the knob pics were taken in practically no light, just the domelight in the car while it was sitting in my dark garage, so it was kinda hard to take a good shot. The majority of pics I take with the Iphone look much better than that though.

Are some of you guys upset that he bought a "stolen" shift knob when he thought it was legit?

Wow... it was just a damn shift know. I'm sure if it was any of you guys you would of snatched that up real quick.

Beautiful shift knob, OP. I'm jealous... I'll give you $35 for it and my boring pearl Voodoo knob!

^ Wow seriously. So I suppose just because it was simply a shift knob that its ok if it was stolen. By that logic anything you deem "inexpensive" is ok to steal. And just because its cheap to replace doesn't mean its ok to be taken. Somebody, somewhere has to pay to replace it. Give me a break. I know for a FACT if I knew it was stolen I wouldn't buy it. I have had stuff stolen from me ipod and what not, and it pisses me right the f*** off.

lol will do next time. As for the thread- i didn't mean to offend or upset anybody with my post. I hate thieves and am always paranoid about my softtop/seats and whatnot, so I can understand how it comes off when I posted this thread up, especially after the kid from GA just got flamed to holy hell about trying to sell legit seats that were assumed to be stolen...

Who knows though, maybe the kid I got it from did obtain it legally somehow, or asked his manager if he could trade a different knob so he could have this one. I doubt he just took it and left the car without a knob or something since he's worked there for a while. He seemed like a cool enough kid, and did not seem like a thief or anything, so who knows...

If he did steal it, then karma will most likely catch up with him sooner or later.

I don't know about would of, but I guess some people here would have. As for me, if I knew the parts were stolen, I'd stay away from them. Someone could offer me a Bugatti Veyron engine for my S2000 (just imagine it'll fit.. Geez! Bear with me, folks) for a cheap price and install it for cheap, too, I wouldn't take the deal. That's just me, though.

P.S: Anyone know of someone selling a stolen Bugatti engine?

Oh I wasn't referring to the OP by purchasing it not knowing it was stolen. That can happen to just about anyone. I was referring to the post above mine stating that even if it was its ok because its JUST a shift knob. But once again even if it is going to auction whoever ends up with the car needs to get a knob. So what I am saying is regardless if anyone will miss it someone is still stuck paying for it.
