Alright, so for the time being- I'll show you the pics of the same knob on someone else's car... https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?act=m...d=si&img=264151

Same as mine, except mines got more of a grey lettering and not black, and i'm not sure if that knob's the pearl or not...

how much lower than stock is it.. i would love if mine were shorter but i think i would have to install a short shifter to get it as small as i would like.. i love those knobs though..

glad to hear that you got a good deal.. is it heavier than stock?

A trick some ppl have used is to put layers of tin foil into the knob... keep trial and error until it lines up.

^may have to try that. As for the height, it lowered a good inch or so, and the aluminum knobs weight 175 grams as opposed to the 240ish grams for the leather wrapped OEM knob. But honestly, I don't really feel the weight difference that much for some reason. Just a better gear engagement for the most part.

A lot of peeps have used teflon tape if they don't want to put locktite blue on. Tin foil seems like a weird way of holding a screw in place. It'll fix the angle if it's a little off centered, but you're saying it's upside down. That'll take A LOT of teflon tape, so you may as well try the tin foil.

I'm lucky mine was skewed toward the driver's seat and not some wierd 90 degree angle. I've never understood why Rick's knob engraver couldn't do a little extra work to make all the engravings centered.

I'm not familiar with set screws. What is it and where might I get one?
