I would do as they say and get a new tire....it's not worth risking it blow out while you're driving and wreck even more on the car...

tire is cheaper to replace than whole car.

If I am really sleepy, I will roll down the window and blast cold ac into my face at the same time (works 90% of the time). Also, try putting on some music that makes you really mad or strikes a cord.

If all else fails, do amphetamines...jk

Glad to hear you are alright. I lost a friend from high school that fell asleep and smashed into a telephone pole at 70mph head on.

It's not worth the risk, just like drinking and driving.
