Default feel the love people

hay buddy's! i've been digging around this site for a few weeks now and i gotta say.. this is a great forum.. nice job s2ki.com! well i thought i might as well introduce myself to all u regulars if i'm gonna be posting and trying to get more involved. so anyways whats up? my names brian i just turned 20 so yall know. used to drive a 97 prelude but traded up to a 2000 S2000 a few months ago. Berlina black on black all the way.. its just my style. I cannot express enough how much i love this automobile.. and i'm even more impressed by all you other owners. i'm proud to me a part of group that has so much appriciation for their cars. i wanna know what u think of my purchase.. i got a MY2000 with 28k on the odo.. car had an early 30k service done to it from honda so everything was running perfect.. was listed on autotrader for 22000 i drove it home for 18640 plus tt&l. so far the car has been great.. only a few problems but i think they are common.. one weird thing was they had rotated the tires from front to back so the 7.5 inchers were on the front and the 6.5 on the rear.. and they were worn tires.. kuhmo i think.. anyways first night driving it i fishtailed gracefully (hahaha yea right) into a curb and bent my rear control arm and cracked the rim.. i got the suspension fixed and decided to go ahead and get some new rims and tires.. i did my homework and now i'm rolling on volks.. le28n gunmetal w/ polished lip in 17 inch.. i'm happy with them they feel really light and nimble. i just ordered them directly from mackin to cut out the bs. i went ahead and threw an eibach pro kit on my baby to lower it a little bit. when i picked the car up from the shop i heard the infamous 'clicking noise' from the rear of the car.. thought they had screwed up the install until i read around here and found the spindle nut fix.. other problems were the drivers window auto down function and it only goes down a little bit when i put my top down.. just found those fixes too.. now that the car is aligned for the new springs the handles are crazy! i'm sick of typing so i'm gonna leave work now and go drive! heres some pics for u to enjoy.. lemme know what u guys think i wanna feel the love.

Congratulations and welcome. Your pics look great, and the LE28Ns look perfect on black.

I hope you didn't have to pay to have your suspension repaired from the damage caused by the dealer's negligence in mounting the wheels incorrectly. To me it seems extremely shocking that anyone could make such a stupid mistake. To a layman the wheels may look identical when they're mounted on the car, but as soon as you take them off, it's impossible not to notice the size difference.

the dealer was private and small.. when they called me for a follow-up questioning they opened the convo with 'hello brian, how is your honda civic running.' i had to pay for the suspension myself i didn't wanna even bother with the idiots.. under 400 for parts and labor and i think they replaced the bearing too.. oh well i'll live

Welcome! nice car there, I like the black on black look. A little more rare to see on the roads these days. I love the wheels too, wish I had a set of customs also

Have fun on the board. Feelin' the love!

Congrats to you 'BlackRoadster'...... Got a question for you: Does the Berlina Black still have the same black tape covering the winshield pillar/cowl as the other colors? Just curious, since your car is black...... (Radster)

It's painted black.

Nice wheels. Black is the fastest color without a doubt.
