Default Favorite Routes (all regions)

I thought it might be interesting to have a central repository of everyone's favorite routes. I'm a big fan of interstate road trips, but rarely know where to find nice twisty roads when I'm not near home.

Here's a couple routes most of the MN crew is familiar with:

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&hl=en&geoc...9,1.110992&z=10

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&hl=en&geoc...5,0.372849&z=11

Here's a route I enjoyed in CO (Granby to estes Park):
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&hl=en&geoc...92&ie=UTF8&z=10

Route near in SD near Mt. Rushmore:

Let's see what the rest of you have!

Speaking of PCH, here's a fun route I took while visiting Napa. Really wished I had my S for it...

If you ever find yourself in Northern MN, HWY 1 from Tettegouche State Park on Lake Superior (Start in Duluth or Grand Marias) to Ely is a blast!

Shorter Hills Run

Route 3

You can street view all these to see what you think too. =P

That SD route looks like it'd be reallly fun. If only it wasn't so far away.

Sault Ste Marie to Thunder Bay (HWY 17 in ON CAN) along the Northern shore of Lake Superior is a great way to spend a day:
