Very scary situation. Glad you made it through OK. My '02 is only 500 miles old. I'd hate to think of something like this happening.

Good luck with the repairs/replacement and please do let us know the final outcome.

Wait... I don't understand, how exactly did the transmission fail and cause the rear differential to lock up. Werd.

I see that you're in South Florida, which dealer is your car at now? If you need help finding a top end body shop, lemme know...

You guys are being so gentle. I doubt that he can even smell the sarcasm.

So, how does a transmission lock up the diff? Could you post the name of your dealer so I can call and talk to them about this design flaw, the 60 lockups and 15 accidents? Have you told this story to your insurance company?

Inquiring minds,
Tanq

yes i went through my insurance and they handled contacting honda and all the problems, i don't know if any of your are from fl but if you are you probably know of the auto toy store, its an exotic car dealership they only handle world exotics, well the body shop that repairs all there cars is the one who is doing my work. do i know i'm getting a good job. i my self still don't understand what they are talking about and how this could have happened but i do know they are taking the blame and paying out of there pocket. so i can't complain
