I kid (about the fire). It will be rough on your knees and there's no such thing as an '04 AP1. Hardtop is an option for any year and if by GT you're referring to the CR, that was '08-09.
I thought it was an 800 lb limit.

Thanks for the replies, especially rockysquared - is it hard to get in for you? Legs clear the steering wheel?

Any chance of a pic from your perspective when your in the drivers seat?

I live in the UK so I am pretty sure we have no ap2's and all of ours are ap1s with the 2.0 litre F20c. In 04 they did a face lift and changed a bunch of things but it still got the 2 litre, we have never had the 2.2 I think.

I weigh about 270lbs and its snug but not uncomfortable but im 5'6 so I have a bit of space to play with

Someone from my work sat in the driver seat and he weighs a bit more but is also alot broader across the shoulder and is over 6'0. He could get in but his knees were against the dash so wouldnt be able to drive it safely.

What area are in you in roughly?

I missed the part where you're in the UK, mah bad. I'm just a big guy, no issues clearing the wheel, I just put the seat all the way back to get in and out.

South Beach and the gym. You could be down 25 LBS in 2-3 weeks and then dropping about 2-5lbs/week there after. You should be around 150-180lbs.

If we worked out together I think you could be down 75-100lbs in 6-9 months. Save your money for an 06+ for Hondata options. Good luck on the weight loss. It'll be a much happier life. S2000 will fit and everything else will feel a lot better.

I guess it really depends on your body type. For being 6'0, I have no problems with my knees hitting anything with my seat pulled all the way back. The only real problem is being able to see the street lights lol I have to slouch at every light to see the signal. Also my head clearance is very good still have about 3 inches of headroom. Getting in & out is very easy for me but I guess that would depend on how flexible your legs are. Ill post a pic when Im on my lunch break.

I gather you missed the part where he said he was 350lbs and 5'10. Suggesting he's twice the weight he should be.

I'm 6 foot as well and have no problems with the car at all. Seat is nearly all the way back though. Getting in and out is like sitting on the ground.

Rockysquared that would be great thankyou. I am very overweight like you said about twice as heavy as I should. Although I'm 22 lbs lighter than I was and to the wife if I could get thin enough to be comfy in an s2k then I. Will be buying g one and she said that's fine hah so now I'm even more motivated!

I understand your plight.
I'm at the edge of the envelope for my body type in the S2K. 6'3" and 275-280 depending on the week.
I have BYS seat lowering which really helps for the knees. The seat is just too small over 280 and you'll be sitting with a lot of weight on the edges of the bolsters.
Like you, I'm trying to get back to where I was... the skinny kid I was in high school and college. It's just harder to do as you get older (like the dr's say).
Goal for me is 199 lbs. I'm on my way there. Keep it up and don't lose sight of your goal !

I'm 5'11 and weigh 300lbs. I've got plenty of room, except for the steering wheel issue. BYS seat rails should fix that though.
