FastBrakes.com Brake Kits
I found another thread that mentioned FastBrakes.com
I went looking around their site and they have a 4 piston caliper front brake kit for the S2000 for $885. The caliper is the Wilwood caliper and they fit on the stock rotor. I am just curious if anyone has tried the kit? Is $885 a good price for the caliper and all required install hardware? I guess it is similar to the Wilwood group by going on, but you get more goodies from the GB. Anyway, just curious.
I am looking for better pedal feel and the look of a larger caliper. My car may see limited auto-x or a track day, but it is my daily driver.
Thanks.

Thanks. I'd still be curious how the fastbrakes.com kit for $885 compares to the $1000 GB Wilwood kit: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.ph...ic=453064&st=0

I haven't done this with the S2000, but I upgraded my front and rear brakes on the Integra I used to own using one of the Fastbrakes kits. Everything fit and worked the way it should, and working with Brian Hasty was an experience I wouldn't hesitate to repeat.
The one bit of advice I'd give you is to try and find Speedbleeders that fit the calipers you're interested in. Makes install so much easier.

its the exact same thing. same wilwood calipers, same wilwood rotors.
only thing different is the hat and the mounting bracket. which he makes himself. which cut cost.
plus he works on it during his spare time. im not sure if he went full time yet. its been a while since i last spoke to him.

I thought that the GB kit was 12.2" rotors, and the fastbrakes kit was stock sized rotors (I thought). Also, the GB comes with brake lines, pads, and fluid.
I was just curious about the kits.
Thanks.

im assuming your talking about the dynalite calipers? if so, then you wont need spacers.
if you are running dynapro or superlite 6 piston calipers... then yes you will need spacers.
