yeah i got the title right here. i think the previous owner had ap2 tails on it, and now he got some 00 tails on it since he prolly couldn't find the 03s. ionoe, but it is a MY03, since it got the glass rear wind shield, and it says it on my title. haha

I don't know if this applies to an MY03, but your best bet is to take it into a Honda dealer and talk to the service rep. about them covering it as a safety repair. I know folks have had this work done on MY00 cars for free (out of warrantee).

After the dealership replaces the taillights for free, some one gets ahold of the old ones and tries to sell them on Ebay. I see them on there all the time for $10-20, the ones that are all faded. I'm sure the previous owner of your car sold the AP2s for a few hundred bucks and then spent 10 on the warranty replaced lights that he put on your car. i seriously doubt Honda's going to pay for them unless you can somehow trick them into thinking your car came with those.
I'm bet Honda's already paid to replace that exact set of taillights once before. Good luck,
JASON

Jason,
That's possible, I guess, but there's one way to tell... Is there a chrome ring around the two circular enclosures, lilmrtinnie? If so, these are indeed MY02 or MY03 tail lights, and are probably NOT warrantee replacments. And, as far as I know, these are not subject to the warrantee repair, but they shouldn't be fading either.
