Default Faded Tail Lights?

Is there any way to fix this? I don't want to pay for a brand new set.

Safety recall. Take it to the dealer. Should be no charge.

if that hasnt been done on the car then also check for the seat belts and spark plugs.

even if the car is out of warranty they will fix it

Look here on the tail lights. It is a Non Compliance recall.

Hmmm. This was only supposed to apply to MY2000 S2Ks.

does it work on MY03? It seems to have the non-chrome ring tail lights.

are you using the right term? maybe the word is "hazed"? hazing is common in southern states especially texas. i even notice hazing on my ap2 tail lights.

I went into the dealership with this same problem and they changed it out with no questions. I went to Honda Santa Ana in SoCal btw.
