Default F&%$#*^ing road debris!

Watch out for road debris. This happened to me on an interstate near Baltimore this morning. A car kicked up a piece of metal in the roadway and it smacked my S
good. Bumper, fender and headlight will have to be replaced.

I think there will be more of this as states cut back on roadway clean up, a victim
of budget cuts.

That sucks.

I cracked my front lip once on a big piece of tire that was in the middle of the interstate. Had nowhere to run to escape it.

Then I cracked it again a couple months ago coming home late at night when a possum decided to try and cross the road right in front of me.

I don't know if this is normal, or due to 'sticky' tires, but I can hear dirt/debree being picked up and clinking underneath my car/fender. Sounds awful, makes me want to stop the car and brush off my tires ;D lol.... anywho I don't drive the S anywhere i'm not familiar with the roads.

Saw a six foot metal ladder just chillin in the middle of a two lane freeway here not too long ago. Who hasn't seen something fly out of some dumpy pick-up or construction vehicle at one point or another? Shit is dangerous as hell.

Well the roads in Mass/Ri are no better . I just got belted in the drivers side above my side strake by a unknown object . I had the top down and was thankful that the object didnt hit me or my wife ! I feel youre pain even though i only suffered paint damage . It sucks... you just cant drive anything nice these days . Good luck with youre repair !
