S2R, Lock-tite isn't really an adhesive, it's just a liquid chemical that solidifies and helps hold the threads together.

when i picked up my car- new- it was missing the antenna...
someone took it at the dealer!
they got me a new one and mailed it to me.
contrary opinion to glueing the antenna:
if you glue it and someone really wants it, wont they do more harm to your car than if its not glued? ...
might be worth letting them have it if they want it that badly-
my two cents worth-

They stole my antenna, but the bad part was that they slasked a hole in my top for no reason while they were at it.

Thats Loctite # 242. It comes in a red bottle. The liquid inside is blue. I put this on my antenna shortly after I got the car. After it dried, I tried to remove the antenna by hand, it can't be done. I'm sure it will come off with pliers though. If they want it that bad, they can have it. In case you're wondering, it doesn't affect your radio's reception either.
