extended warrenty

Default extended warrenty
The dealer in my area of ohio has an extended warrenty which is 6 years/100,000 miles for $1500.00. Is the high or is it normal.

I would say it's normal. They tried to talk me in to it at $1800 but I ended up getting them to agree on $1100. I'm satisfied as I plan on keeping this car for quite some time.

Contrary to what dealers would have you believe. Extended warranties are NEGOTIABLE! And they are one of the best ways a dealer has to make $$$$$$.

They sure are nogotiable. I got a 6 year/72k mile warranty for 583$. BUT that price, i think, was only because i said no once already and he needed to sell one more for the month. They are negotiable!

That's WAY too much. Go to hondawarranty.com and price it. Their prices are about !5% above dealer COST.

Last year dealer cost on a 7 year/75,000 warranty (purchased after the sale) was $650.
