Chazmo their was no damage, just hard to look at it filthy with the paint severly scratched up in order to paint.....

That was to keep abrasive dust and chemicals, possible primer overspray off of it.

Yea his car was way nicer than mine, with alot more mods. I haven't heard any more about it.

Well, yours is real Honda factory MC blue, right (I don't think 'sup's was)? I haven't heard anything either since they recovered his car.

Hey, BTW, you and he inspired me... I'm investigating the possibility of importing a used MC blue JDM S stateside! Another fellow from s2ki has to sell his next year, and I think it'd be really cool to have one in the states. I'd even like to leave it untouched (RHD and all) if customs and EPA let me.

Did you, perchance, consider that option before you repainted, Brad? Just curious.

It never even came to mind importing one. The idea of a right hand drive sounds really cool only problem I see once you have it here is learning how to drive all over, shifting with your left hand, clutch and brake with right foot could be real interesting.

Thanks, Brad!

FYI, they don't reverse the pedals with RHD. Pedals stay the same orientation in all countries (I think). Just the steering and shift hand change.

The question is whether "the authorities" allow this kind of thing. I know one person who has an RHD Peugeot (I know, I know... Why??? ) registered in the US, so I believe it's possible. We'll see.

Your right they don't. (Stand Corrected). Still the left handed shift would be a challenge.

I bet the transfer costs would be expensive, maybe out of site impact fees.

I'll post if/when I proceed with this. I agree, there are perhaps import taxes to consider and shipping costs... If it doesn't make sense, I won't proceed.

If any readers have any info on importing a used JDM vehicle, please PM me. Tnx.

I noticed a silverstone in the 1st set of pics with the Mugen wing. I also have that color S2k and have been contemplating getting that wing if you have any more photos of that car and can post them that would be great thx.
