Default Exciting news on 4.44 gear sets

We have been working very hard to solve the supply problems for the 4.44 gear sets, and we are within days of a solution.

Hint: they will be manufactured exclusively for us here in the US, so we will no longer depend on spotty supply chains from Japan. In fact, it appears that the world supply of the 4.44s has been nearly exhausted, and Mazda (yes, they are made by Mazda) no longer plans to manufacture them. We are hoping for a price reduction and will know by the weekend whether we can do it.

If our plans hold up, once the 4.44s go into production, we should be able to make gear sets in other ratios, say 4.55 or 4.66.

Our stock of 4.77s is holding up well and they are still readily available.

This is exciting news, Rick.

I, for one, would like to see about an 11% reduction become available, so that would be around a 4.55:1 ratio. I think a gear somewhere between the 4.44's and 4.77's is what a lot of people are looking for.

4.66 that would be a set I would buy.
Hey Rick do you have any guess as to what they are going to do with the 2004 differentials? Would these gears work with 2004's or not.

I would seriously consider a 4.55 or 4.66 if you had them.

I don't plan on any engine mods - but when I feel I'm ready for more speed - it's gonna be gears.

You sure lig? I'll have a CAI up for sale soon if you want it... and a ZTEC CF intake heatshield and RM Billet frame rail cover...

Ooops, didn't mean to hijack, Rick.
