[QUOTE]I know this will only be of use to Westerners, but our car will cruise comfortably and somewhat quietly at 5600rpm and 100mph, at that point just before the high-lift cam comes on. WHAT A GREAT CAR!

I got 32mpg from San Antonio to Dallas once and that was after 4 or 5 downshifts to 3rd gear to get rid of a pesky GTP.

My normal driving is a mix of freeway and city streets, but you run 80mph on Phoenix freeways or get run over (try that Ludedude). My average seems around 26mpg.

I put on a fair amount of miles just commuting and average 22.9 MPG. But that's with at least two VTEC runs through 3rd gear per day - one on the way to work and one on the way back. 34k miles on an '00

So far my record has been 31MPG. When all my bars are gone, that's usually 10 gallons. I could have pushed it more because of the extra 2.5 gallons but why? Awesome car! I can easily blow away the 24MPG hwy rating!

I just bought my 01 in SF Cali. and drove it back to Kenosha WI. At one point on the trip we put in 11.5 gallons of gas and had gotten 350 miles out of it. SO I was pleased the entire way!
