EWWW I hate Greenwich CT
Drove to greenwich in connecticut (pretty expensive town in the area) and parked the S in the main street so I could grab some dinner. Some middle aged lady who seemed to have gotten a hundred facelifts came out of the restaurant I was going into and saw my car with her husband. I can hear her telling her husband what a gorgeous car it is and asked what it is. He answers its a Honda S2000 and she immediately says "ewwwww, i thought it was a Mercedes Compressor....that Honda is ugly"
Uggh I felt like smacking her but my gf starts laughing to hard that she was such a snob that I got the giggles too.

Greenwich is an amazing town. The "shopping" area has a cop on every block directing traffic. Land Rovers, Lexus Land Crushers, Mercs, Rolls, Bentleys and such are almost all you see. Boston Post Road (Car Road) has every high-end dealership. Even a lowly Acura and Honda place. As a relative poor boy, I feel very uncomfortable there.

As someone pointed out, not only was she snobby but she was also ignorant. Mercedes doesn't make a car called the Kompressor - that's a moniker added to the cars that are supercharged.
In short, she was a stupid snob. Or, at the very least, uninformed...
Hilarious, though, how she thought it was beautiful until she realized it wasn't a Benz. Talk about silly....

The Hamptons are located on the south eastern shore of long island. Actually, not all of the hamptons are all that upscale. There is quite a few fishermen and farmers out there. Of course, there are also the rich manhatinites as well as the wanabee rich who frequent the bordybarn on sunday afternoons, or as the locals call it, the "bordibn" and then spell it out "b-o-r-dbn". Got to love those long island accents.

I stopped in Greenwich on the way to my summer job (painting) one day, and as I'm waiting for my buddy at the 7-11, a Bentley pulls up, a guy and his little kid get out, buy breakfast, and take off.
That was the first time I'd ever seen a Bentley at a 7-11.

I have yet to see a Bentley at a gas station.
You would think at <10 mpg, they'd be there frequently.
I've driven through Greenwich. Good place to people-watch.
No one's too impressed with the S there though.
