from the evo9mr to the ap2

Depends on what you intend on doing with the car...if you're going to track it I'd suggest coilovers? There aren't many HP mods that you can do to yield gains like the EVO....unless you go FI.
I'm not sure if I would consider it a downgrade or upgrade. I've considered EVOs before I bought my car and I've considered them after purchasing my car but the fun factor, insurance, and looks of the S always draws me back. I don't need to extra room and I think for my purposes the S is plenty fast for me.

+1 I love the evo but I think it's safe to say that, I grew up and time to get a more practical but sporty car. I'm new to the f22c so have no idea on what to do. I'm very familiar with turbos but I'm done with em. Prolly I'll try Sc it.

There is basically no power to be gained in the F20/22 without FI. Just do it right the first time.
I'd consider the EVOIX -> AP2 a lateral move.

LOL. Thanx for the inputs guys. Suspension sounds great right now. Or is anyone selling an intake? LOL

I'd consider this move a lateral move as well. It's pretty much equal just a change in class of vehicle. From four door sedan with a conservatively aggressive look that hauls arse to a sporty 2 seat track ready roadster with a timeless design and enough power to boot.
I personally thought about getting an Evo for the practicality factor but I figure I won't be able to make a selfish 2 seat roadster purchase again until I'm older. Also, 287 crank HP will only make me poor from mods and too many fix-it and speeding tickets. I don't want to sound shallow or anything but I also did not want the image that goes along with the Evo. Where I live its typically wealthy high school kids that got the car they wanted and basically drive like maniacs and race around town acting like they own the place (this goes for other similar cars as well). The S2k just seems a bit more refined but can open up when you want it to. Don't get me wrong though I would love to own an Evo along with my S2k right now if I could. Heck, I might even pick one up after I drive out my S2k... just no annoying BOV or cop attracting exhausts for me!
Oops back to the topic, for mods I say go with wheels, suspension, intake, and exhaust. Then you can do little cosmetic mods or go FI.
