I'm new to the S world, but I already have the impression it's a car every idiot wants to race. I have had a lot of modified performance cars, most of them faster than the S and people rarely pulled any of that ricer revving, fly byes, etc... I've only put ~100 miles on my S locally and I have already had one civic with a fart can rev at me and plenty of others rubber necking when I am going a different direction. I can't imagine what it will be like when spring and summer are here. I may need a flashing neon sign that says "no I will not race your stupid civic."

Why is it so tough to ignore some punk with a little dick syndrome who's got something to prove to the world? Unless of course, you've got the little dick syndrome yourself.

Maybe because I'm over 50 that kids don't do that with me or my wife. I have yet to have someone try to race me and I know they can't catch my wife when she's behind the wheel

I got a lot of attention the first year I had the car, now I'm rather use to it and don't pay any attention.

I've learn that most people are just bad drivers, can only drive fast in a straight line and that's boring.

I too find it lame when small-penis-complex guys want to race. I never encourage and always roll away slowly. Less I get seen by police as 'racing' and find myself with a fat ticket.

Happens to me quite often too, perhaps its because I have a "slow as ****" sticker on the back

Maybe it's a function of age, but I've had quite a lot more people try to race me than I expected.

Oh, and I drive a slushbox 8th gen Civic...maybe it's the red paint?

Happens to me in Orange County all the time. And it looks like I just have wheels and am dropped.
