I got 2 tickets in the last month - after being clean for years!
First was FHP - very nice officer - we talked about running the Dragon and about the car. He had me clocked at 70 in a 45, but wrote it for 54 in a 45.
Second was 2 nites ago, sheriff in unmarked white Ford pickup truck - also very nice. Clocked me at 75 in a 55, but wrote it for "speed too fast for conditions". As we finished our business, he asked me if I had heard about the MY04 changes, and I went over a few things like 2.2 litres, 8k redline, etc. He said that's what he heard too.
I need to slow down

I knowingly admit that I have a disease, thus renderring me incapable of slowing down...

Just talking to a buddy about this today (im going to be polite). Yeah i feel for you brother.... I also got this shit in my 18k PreLude '98.
"Some" Cops are bitter cause they "cant" afford a nice car like that... or whatever.
They froth at the mouth when they get an opportunity to get a sports car. This 1 cop was following me forEVER i pulled over and let him to buy and started following him.... so many of my friends with nice rides have similar stories
Get a Lawer and fight it using the posted signs leverage. Their is a law to the distance signs have to be posted. Check online ... some lawyers have sites dedicated to this... sometimes free advise
In actuallity its us "rich kids" who have less cash to pay for the ticket.

Oh Ya, Now I do. I got moved to WV (I work in the resort Biz.) last summer from Lk Tahoe, CA. I sold my '01 Boxter S when I left CA, This April I got my '03 S2000 (which I like way more than the Boxter but that is another story). I am sort of looked upon as an outsider, WV realy is for the most part (there are some nice people here) a Local Yocal If you ain't from here you don't belong here (and they let you know), Especially if you are from FL and lived if CA
To the point: The main road is a winding country posted @ 55mph
I have been pulled over 3 times in 4 months they got me for going 58, 60, and 61. All three times they gave me a really hard time even though I have local tags and licence. The thing that makes me the most pissed off is the fact that 2 or 3 times a week I almost get killed by an old P.O.S. truck going about 70
