estimated date of arrival
when a dealer tells you the estimated date of arrival, are they usually on the target or many of them just use arbitrary dates to get customers hooked?

really depends on the dealership. basically dont take their word for it to the exact date. some guesstimates are pretty dead on by the dealership, and others get you hooked. once they have a VIN for an S, then expect about 2-4 weeks for delivery to the dealership.

The second time I ordered my s2000 I got the VIN about 5 weeks before I got the car. The dealer said the car would be in 10 to 14 days after he gave me the VIN #, well that two weeks stretched into 5. But when the car came in the wait was forgotten
