EPS Torque Sensor

Default EPS Torque Sensor

I need to memorize the torque sensor on EPS and i should follow the instructions as per below. I need to have a special tool SCS short connector which i do not have, Can i just short the 2 connectors on P2 (close circuit)??

I have done this. I took a paper clip and shorted Pin #2 in the ODBII connector to ground. So don't touch the EPS Control unit.

Are you sure its Pin2 i have to short and not pin1 as described on http://www.baustnet.com/honda/misc/dtc.htm

After changing to a new complete steering rack/gearbox, after a turn, the steering wheel does not self center, It does not pull to any sides.

I also know that i need an alignment done too, I will get that sorted it and "re calibrate" the torque sensor

does anyone have a picture of the little thing that you put the paper clip in? "i forgot the name of it"
