EPS light come on!
My EPS light come on, steering wheels so hard to turn!!!!!!!!!
I just pick up my brand S2000 three days ago, with only 218 miles on it, everything is stock, because I still in break in period. Today when I start my engine and drive, I felt that the steering was so hard, then I saw the EPS light came on. I turn off the engine and start again, but the EPS light still come on. So I went to dealership immediately, after I came into the dealership, turn off the engine. After few minutes a mechanic come and start the engine and check the light, but the light come off, everything seem normal again. The mechanic checked it, it said is ok, but I am so worry about that. Do you guys have the same problems happen before? Please HELP!!!

If you do a search, you'll see that this is not that uncommon. Though I've never heard of the EPS light coming on twice in a row. I don't know the reason for it coming on, but it's happened twice to me in nearly two years of ownership. All you should have to do is turn the engine off and start it again. I can understand your worry, though. It's a brand new $33,000 car and it shakes your confidence. Who said that Japanese cars don't have character?
Seriously though, don't worry about it too much unless it happens again soon/often.
Here's an excerpt from the Owner's Manual:
EPS: Electric Power Steering Indicator
This light normally comes on when you turn the ignition ON and goes off after the engine starts. If it comes on at any other time, there is a problem in the Electric Power Steering system. If this happens, stop the car in a safe place and turn off the engine. Reset the system by restarting the engine, and watch the EPS light. If it does not go off, or comes back on again while driving, take the car to your dealer to have it checked. With the light on, the EPS is turned off, making the car harder to steer.

Thank you for the help!
The mechanic in Honda dealership told me that, it should be ok, maybe the connector lose so the EPS light come on. He told me if the light come on again maybe have to change parts.
