Prevents? That's interesting. Unless it's a dealer applied clear plastic film I wouldn't touch it.

I've got some rat piss you can rub on your paint that will give it a clear complexion and youthful glow too

the only thing that would prevent chips is the clear bra.....unless this is it..as mentioned already....stay away
