If you want LS1 power go out a buy a Z28 camaro or WS6 TransAm. They will probably cost you less than an S2000 and be far cheaper and easier to mod.
If you want to go fast for cheap, buy a 75 wet shot of nitrous. 1200 dollars and you'll be pulling E46 M3s.

I agree, it is a well balanced car no doubht. But when your looking for more power, and leaning towards F/I, your much better off going with an LS1 swap. Probably cost around the same if you save on the shell.
