Really great job Rick! You've obviously put a lot of work into this. Even more commendable is the fact that you always take time to go into such detail concerning applications and problems that pop up with your endeavors. Its probably not mentioned enough but Thank You very much!

BTW: (IMO) Some red powdercoated pulleys sure would look great. Maybe AEM will make some for the S2K soon.

Hey Rick,
Can you post a "parts list" that you ordered from these websites.
IE...How much (in feet) of each hose width, connectors, and how many bolt caps. I am trying to price this out, and it looks like it was not a cheap undertaking on your part.

I think your engine bay is the cleanest that I have ever seen, given the fact that I know you drive this car. I have seen show cars that look great, but they never see the open road!

Great job Rick!

So what makes all these engine mods "beautification" and not "rice"?

The sole fact that you are an over 60 white male and not an under 25 AZN male????

Your car would be just another import on the covers of these mags

I bring this up since I kow how Rick doesen't like how younger people are "ricing" up the S2K image by putting body kits, wings, and "non-functional" mods on....
This is not a flame, its more like an observation

layton,

While I didn't agree with everything Rick said in his post several weeks back, THAT post was truly the corect place to make your comments (and I made my opinion quite clear there). You're beating a dead horse here, and hijacking this thread for these types of comments is inappropriate.

I agree, sorry...

Its mostly the term "rice" vs. "beautification" that baffled me.

\"rice\" thread

Rick...i too would like to know how much you ordered and from where.......also a price would be great...if you dont want to disclose that here, a PM would be cool too.....

Otherwise.....a possible business venture for you would be to talk to the companies, buy in bulk, and then sell on your site, already cut and ready for install!!! That would be so cool!

Here are the sources for the braided hose, hose ends, and other bits I used. This is painstaking work, not least because the braided hose tears up your hands.

Hope this is helpful.

Very nice. A beautiful engine bay is my downfall. I wash and detail mine at least once a month.

Your radiator stays look like they are chromed. Did you have this done or did you buy them? I have looked but could not find any to buy.
