It's $6k for a Corky Bell designed CARB legal turbo kit. Well worth the money when you compare it to a $5500 S/C kit. It can spank a S/C'ed s2k even with 29Xrwhp just because of it's power curve on a turbo.

If this was only out about a year ago.......
Saying to myself:
Stop thinking about turbo, Stop thinking about turbo, already bought the SC. It's paid for. Stop thinking about turbo.........

All joking aside, I don't doubt the quality of Elda/Bell's kit (I have the new Super Street, just haven't had time to read it yet). But let's be realistic: for $6K, I could get an SC kit with AC boosting at 7.5 psi ($4K), an AEM EMS ($1.3K) and 550cc injectors ($400) and VERY easily throw down 315 whp -- as one of our local members just did 2 weeks ago at dyno day. That's a 115 vs. 72 whp increase in favor of the SC. Who's doing the spanking then, I wonder?
One thing I WILL admit: there is waaaay more upside potential with a turbo. But you're also talking waaaay more than $6K there too. Assuming a $6K ceiling, I still maintain that an SC kit for this car is the best bang for the buck. Period.

Updates to kit since to article was done include having upgraded injectors + emanage etc....
BTW they list the TC as being rated for 500+HP

what ever happened to Cybernation putting out a kit? Does anybody know? I was about to get their kit for my RSX S, found the S2k, and now can't really afford to slap some boost on either car.
