Thinking of picking some up in the near future. What's a low priced set that is still rather decent? D2's? I've seen those go in the 800 range. Will I also need to buy a camber kit as well? When I get an alignment will they fix all that camber kit BS or what. Thanks for the help.

i can't tell you what is decent or not. .because it all boils down to one thing. how much money can you spend, and what are your goals.

so, i suggest you use the search feature for a while just to gauge your options.

however; pss9's and kw v3's are very popular and those that have them love em. a cheaper alternative would be the ground control/koni setup.

a camber kit is not needed.

and keep in mind, whichever path you choose. .slamming your car is not the best way to gain handling. one inch in the front and about 1-1/4 to 1-1/2 inches in the back is about as low you can go without sacrificing your suspension geometry.

i can tell you that the espelir springs im running now have decreased my handling marginally. i blame it on the lack of proper geometry.

i couldnt agree more.

i went straight for the pss9's. i'd rather fork over the money now for some good coils so i dont have to worry about anything in the future. no problems. no hassles.

pss9's + install + alignment came out to be around $1500

that's exactly what im dealing with now. got some espelirs because i thought they would suite me. .

now im looking at purchasing a higher end coilover setup. .i could have saved some cash and went straight to coilovers.

winson, stock shocks.

trust me, get coils and you wont regret it at all. its tough on the wallet now but it saves you later on
